Dagon SSH — Terms of Service

1. The service

Dagon SSH is an Android application that provides an SSH/terminal client with optional cloud-assisted features (voice-to-text dictation, settings sync, file transfer and server-management tools). By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts

Some features require signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for the security of your device and of the SSH credentials you enter. SSH passwords and private keys are stored only on your device (Android Keystore) and are never transmitted to us.

3. Acceptable use

• Use the app only to access servers and systems you are authorised to access.
• Do not use the app for unlawful activity, to gain unauthorised access to systems, or to disrupt any network or service.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for circumvention, or overload our backend services.

4. Free tier, trial and subscriptions

• The core SSH terminal is free, with the following limits on the free plan: one active server, ten snippets, one toolbar layout, and a read-only SFTP browser.
• New accounts receive a time-limited free trial during which all Premium features are unlocked. No payment method is required to start the trial.
• After the trial, Premium features (voice-to-text, SFTP transfers and editing, Git/Docker/PM2 tools, monitoring, port forwarding, split view, and unlimited servers, snippets and toolbars) require an active subscription. Nothing you created is deleted when the trial ends; items beyond a free-plan limit become inactive until you subscribe.
• Subscriptions (monthly or yearly), the one-time Lifetime plan and AI top-up packs are sold and billed through Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms. Prices, renewal and cancellation are managed in your Google Play account. Trial length and feature availability may change over time.
• Subscriptions include a monthly AI allowance for AI, transcription and read-aloud requests handled by our servers. It resets each calendar month; unused parts don't carry over. Subscribers can buy top-up packs, which don't expire while the account exists. A refunded pack is removed from the balance.
• The Lifetime plan unlocks every Premium feature with no end date. AI, transcription and read-aloud then work only with your own OpenAI API key, which you pay OpenAI for directly; Lifetime includes no AI allowance and no top-up packs. A refunded Lifetime purchase is withdrawn.

5. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dagon SSH and Alpaco IT are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app, including data loss, actions taken on servers you connect to, or service interruptions. You use the app at your own risk and are solely responsible for the commands you execute on your servers.

7. Account deletion

You can delete your account and all associated server-side data at any time, from within the app (Settings → Delete account) or on the web at dagon-ssh.it/delete-account.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are unaffected.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; changes are posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
